Responsible for regulatory oversight of radioactive sources and radiation emitting devices in Ghana.
Non-Ionising Applications Department
Responsible for the regulatory oversight for non-ionising practices like base stations, MRI machines etc.
Emergency Preparedness and Response Department
Responsible for supporting and coordinating emergency arrangements, response capabilities at the facility and national levels, for all radiological and nuclear emergencies in Ghana, in collaboration with stakeholders including other state agencies.
Instrumentation & ICT Department
Responsible for identification, acquisition, calibration, repair and maintenance of appropriate regulatory inspection and laboratory equipment. It also provides support for the Regulatory Authority Information System (RAIS) as well as provides and maintains internet services.
