The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NRA) held a one-day Governance Training Programme on Tuesday 3 February 2026 for its Board of Directors, aimed at strengthening leadership oversight and enhancing institutional governance.
The training sought to deepen Board Members’ understanding of corporate governance frameworks within the public service and to further build their capacity to effectively discharge their oversight responsibilities. Key focus areas included ethical leadership, accountability, regulatory compliance, and sound decision-making practices essential for effective board performance.
In addition, sessions addressed workplace conflict management, equipping Board Members with practical tools to manage disputes fairly, lawfully, and efficiently. The programme also enhanced participants’ knowledge of critical human resource management issues that impact public sector institutions.
This initiative underscores the Authority’s continued commitment to good governance, transparency, and the promotion of high standards of regulatory leadership in the fulfilment of its mandate.
